Paradoxically, late Wednesday night, Trump posted a series of AI-generated memes and videos online, including depictions of him interacting with the Cracker Barrel logo man, a highly elongated neck for California Democratic Senator Adam Schiff, and his face superimposed on a pole vaulter leaping over a Cracker Barrel banner. This came just days after he complained about the technology being used to create misleading videos, and on Tuesday, he erroneously claimed a video of items being thrown from a White House window must have been AI-generated, despite his own team having confirmed its authenticity hours prior. He quipped, “If something happens that’s really bad, maybe I’ll have to just blame AI.”
