LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Acclaimed actress and director Bryce Dallas Howard, 44, recently offered a candid look into her significant contributions to the Star Wars universe and the unexpected realities of working under the Disney umbrella. Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE at the Los Angeles Comic Con on September 27, 2025, Howard addressed a popular fan query: does her involvement with Lucasfilm, a Disney-owned entity, grant her special access to the brand’s iconic theme parks like Disneyland?

This resourceful approach, she believes, often sparks some of the greatest creative ideas, proving that limitations can be a powerful catalyst for innovation. “When it comes down to it, if you need the thing to happen, it can happen on a Star Wars set. And as a filmmaker, there’s no greater privilege,” she added.

During a panel discussion at the Comic Con event, Howard offered an exhilarating tease for the upcoming Ahsoka Season 2, which she has recently finished cutting. “Y’all, it’s so good. It’s SO good,” she enthused. “It is beautiful; it is thrilling; it is adventurous; it is romantic. It’s all the things that you want from an epic story.” She described her involvement as “one of the greatest privileges and joys of my life, getting to play in that sandbox.” Fans can mark their calendars, as Ahsoka Season 2 is currently slated for a 2026 premiere on Disney+.
