While Swift, 35, makes appearances within the documentary, director Lappas confirmed on Saturday, August 23, that the artist was “very supportive” of the project, having “approved all of her image and likeness.” However, the filmmakers deliberately chose not to pursue a direct interview with the pop star. Lara Krug, CMO of the Chiefs and COO of Foolish Club Studios, explained the rationale: “The point was always about the Chiefs and the family,” emphasizing that Swift is viewed as a “big fan” herself. Krug added, “Now you see her in the way that I think is how she wanted to be seen, which is as a fan of the community.”

Swift’s public embrace of the Chiefs began in 2023 when her relationship with Travis Kelce first garnered widespread attention. Her consistent presence at games, often donning the team’s signature red, gold, and white attire, quickly transformed her into an iconic symbol of Chiefs fandom.
