Paris, France – August 22, 2025 – Following a bustling red-carpet premiere in the City of Lights, co-stars Austin Butler, 34, and Zoë Kravitz, 36, took a moment away from their demanding global press circuit for their new film, “Caught Stealing,” to enjoy a quiet evening at the Dragon bar in Paris on Thursday, August 21. Their appearance in Paris marks another significant stop on an extensive international tour to promote “Caught Stealing,” a gritty crime thriller directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. Just two days prior, on August 19, the pair generated buzz at a London screening, where Butler’s quick reflexes were captured on video by the New York Post as he playfully swatted away a bee that had approached Kravitz on the red carpet. These lighthearted moments underscore the camaraderie developing between the two actors as they introduce their project to audiences worldwide.

In “Caught Stealing,” Butler takes on the role of Hank Thompson, a burned-out ex-baseball player who finds himself unexpectedly drawn into the dangerous criminal underworld of 1990s New York City. Kravitz portrays Yvonne, Thompson’s love interest, a pivotal role that led to the pair being photographed sharing an on-set kiss in October 2024, providing an early glimpse into their characters’ dynamic. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including veteran talents Regina King, Liev Schreiber, Matt Smith, and Vincent D’Onofrio, further elevating its anticipated release.

Beyond their professional collaboration, both actors have experienced significant shifts in their personal lives recently. Zoë Kravitz was previously engaged to her “Blink Twice” co-star Channing Tatum, with their engagement announced in October 2023. However, sources close to PEOPLE confirmed their decision to call off the engagement in October 2024, citing differences in “stages of life.” Austin Butler, known for his transformative role in “Elvis,” concluded a three-year relationship with Kaia Gerber at the end of 2024, with TMZ reporting that the relationship “simply ran its course.” Prior to this, Butler was in a long-term relationship with Vanessa Hudgens from 2011 to 2020. Despite these personal transitions, the focus remains firmly on their compelling on-screen partnership and the highly anticipated release of “Caught Stealing.”
