Brooklyn Peltz Beckham on Vow Renewals, Domestic Bliss, and Hot Sauce Empire
In a candid and exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, the 26-year-old entrepreneur and scion, has for the first time shared details of a deeply personal milestone: his recent vow renewal ceremony with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30. Held on Saturday, August 2, the intimate occasion served as a reaffirmation of their commitment, just over two years after their lavish 2022 wedding.
A Second “I Do” and Enduring Love
“It was beautiful,” Beckham shared with PEOPLE on August 6, just days after the ceremony, while hosting an Airbnb Originals Experience in Los Angeles. “We just wanted a really beautiful experience—a really cute memory.” The Cloud23 CEO expressed an almost poetic devotion, stating, “To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her.” He added that finding a lifelong partner profoundly shapes an individual, reflecting on the “really, really cute” and “fun” nature of their recent renewal. Famously, Beckham has his original 2022 wedding vows tattooed on his body, a permanent declaration of love. He revealed he now faces the delightful challenge of “find[ing] space” for his new vows, which he noted were “actually longer than my original ones.”
A “Never-Ending Play Date” at Home
Beyond the public eye, Brooklyn and Nicola’s married life is characterized by a comfortable, private domesticity. “We don’t like to go out for dinner, really,” Brooklyn explained, emphasizing their preference for quiet evenings over bustling social scenes. “We don’t like to party or anything like that.” Instead, their preferred “never-ending play date” involves staying home with their four beloved dogs, enjoying wine, and cherishing each other’s company. Their relationship timeline began in October 2019, went Instagram official in January 2020, and culminated in an engagement just seven months later.
From Culinary Passion to Hot Sauce Mogul
Beckham also shed light on his entrepreneurial journey, particularly the launch of his hot sauce brand, Cloud23, in 2024. Addressing past public criticism about his career path, he candidly admitted, “I always got so much rubbish because I didn’t find what I loved, work-wise, until I was 21, 22.” He revealed that for the past five years, while critics questioned his professional direction, he was diligently working “behind the scenes” on what would become Cloud23.
The genesis of Cloud23, he credits entirely to Nicola. Four years ago, as he wrestled with career choices, she suggested, “We love food. Why don’t you do something with food?” Though initially hesitant to become a professional chef, an impromptu experiment after “getting really drunk one night” sparked the idea. “We looked up videos and started making hot sauce,” he recalled. The creation of their first flavor, Sweet Jalapeño, was so surprisingly successful that it ignited a deeper dive into the market. Beckham identified a “blank space for high-end hot sauces with a gorgeous bottle and the cleanest ingredients.” Cloud23 currently offers two distinct flavors: Hot Habanero and the original Sweet Jalapeño.
Mastering the Art of Hosting: An Airbnb Experience
Brooklyn’s passion for food and entertaining was showcased at his “Plan a Summer Party with Brooklyn Peltz Beckham” Airbnb Originals Experience in Los Angeles. Guests were immersed in his culinary world, starting with a spicy pickle martini infused with his hot sauce. Later, under the guidance of Chef Aaron May, attendees learned to prepare a chimichurri featuring Cloud23. TV personality Debbie Matenopoulos was also present, offering additional entertaining tips.

Beckham’s dedication to the culinary arts is evident in his personal hosting style. “I’ve always been a massive foodie,” he stated, sharing his love for trying diverse cuisines and meeting chefs during his travels. For his own gatherings, he often prepares his signature spaghetti bolognese, a dish he makes special with an entire bottle of “the cheapest red wine” and, notably, 10 bay leaves. A curious addition, he confessed, is a wine cork in the pot, though he admits, “I don’t think it does anything.” The dish is then left to marinate for five hours, allowing the flavors to deepen.
Beyond the plate, ambiance is paramount for Beckham. His hosting essentials include Trudon candles, good music, and soft, low lighting, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. “We’d rather just have a bunch of candles, with the lights really, really, really low,” he explained. His collaboration with Airbnb, a brand he’s long admired, felt like a natural fit, allowing him to share his passion for food, drinks, and connecting with new people.
