Heather Rae El Moussa Offers Candid Insight into Christina Haack’s Future Marital Plans Amid Thriving Blended Family Dynamic
The ‘Flip Off’ Co-Star Reflects on Christina’s Relationship with Christopher Larocca and How Their Shared HGTV Project Strengthened Their Bond.
In a recent candid interview with E! News, Heather Rae El Moussa, 37, shed light on the likelihood of her HGTV “The Flip Off” co-star, Christina Haack, 42, walking down the aisle for a fourth time. El Moussa, who is married to Christina’s ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, shared that while marriage might be on the horizon for Christina, it’s not an immediate prospect. “If so, it will be [in] some time,” Heather stated, emphasizing that Christina “is not wanting to rush into anything” with her current boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, the CEO and president of Network Connex.

Christina Haack’s personal life has frequently been in the public eye, marked by three previous marriages. She was first married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2016, with whom she shares two children, daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9. Following their divorce, Christina married Ant Anstead in 2018, a union that lasted until their separation in 2021 and resulted in son Hudson, now 5. Most recently, her marriage to Josh Hall ended with a divorce filing in July 2024, after two years. Her romance with Christopher Larocca was confirmed by PEOPLE in January, swiftly becoming Instagram official just one month later.
Heather Rae El Moussa expressed genuine approval of Christina’s new relationship, a sentiment echoed by her husband, Tarek. “I do like them together,” Heather told E! News. “I think it’s the first guy she’s [been with] that I’ve really liked.” She elaborated on the positive dynamic, adding, “I really like Chris. Tarek does, too. And Tarek and him get along on just a guy level, and hanging out and [on] a business [level]. And I think that he is a real man.” Christina herself affirmed their connection, noting, “They’re just really cute together. They’ve been together for quite a while, and I’ve really enjoyed every time I’ve spent time with him.”
A surprising byproduct of their professional collaboration on the new HGTV series “The Flip Off” has been the notable strengthening of the relationship between Heather, Christina, and Tarek. Heather explained how the show, which she described as “light-hearted and fun,” helped bridge past tensions. “The Flip Off really brought our relationship closer together — and Tarek’s and Christina’s,” she shared. “They [Christina and Tarek] went through so much stuff through their divorce and after […] and, you know, the media can stir up things. It’s just a lot of stress all the time, and I feel like being together, she and I really got to [connect] on like a friendship level, not just a co-parenting level, and we got to know each other as women.”
The increasingly harmonious dynamic within this blended family was recently showcased during a joint trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Christina’s birthday. Heather shared a collection of photos from the getaway on social media, playfully captioning the post, “What happens in Vegas…ends up on Instagram 😏🎲🍾,” a clear sign of their comfortable and evolving rapport.
This unique family structure, involving multiple ex-spouses co-parenting and navigating new relationships, continues to draw public attention. Heather acknowledged this, stating, “[Some] people are never gonna understand our relationship. Some do — some really celebrate our relationship, and some are gonna critique. And some are never gonna like us. You can’t please everyone.” Despite external perceptions, the focus remains on fostering a stable and supportive environment for their collective five children: Taylor (14), Brayden (9), Hudson (5), and Tristan (2).
