Adams, fresh from his critically acclaimed performance in the Netflix limited series Wayward, and Matthew Fox, making his highly anticipated return to a major television role since his iconic turn in Lost. Early reports, particularly from The Hollywood Reporter, suggested the series would take place after the events of the original Yellowstone and potentially integrate both new and returning characters. However, the streamer has clarified that it is currently “unclear if the Clyburns have any direct relation to the Duttons,” leaving its place in the established continuity open to speculation.
Pfeiffer’s involvement marks a significant return to television, following her critically acclaimed role in The First Lady. She also has the upcoming Apple TV series Margo’s Got Money Troubles set to premiere on April 15, for which she also holds an executive producer credit.
